Overview:
The Everett, Washington facility is located on six acres, north of Seattle. Everett's capabilities
include gantry profiling for skins, stringers, chords and ribs to 120 feet long, and high-speed
light stringer profiling. It specializes in small machined parts for aircraft components and interiors.

Site History:
Contour Industries in Everett, Washington was founded in 1973 and initially machined skins,
spars and stringers for the Boeing 707 and 727. In 1996, Contour Industries was sold to
The Carlyle Group, which merges the business with Contour of California (CCI) in Brea to
form Contour Aerospace, Inc. In 1998, Carlyle merges Contour with The Aerostructures Corp. and
operates unit as a division. In July 2003, Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. purchases The
Aerostructures Corp.
